Off the Wall at Norfolk Collegiate School – January 25-30. 2013

Off the Wall show went well despite the fact it was a crazy weather.  I couldn’t even make it to the opening. But turned out, one of my painting was sold from that show. I am so grateful.

It was an awesome night! Great food, great friends, great music, and great art!

Stacy Whiting, Ayano Gibson, and me, Masako got together with a musician, Otis. We talked, had some food and drinks, dance with the music.

On top of that, my new patron bought three of my paintings that day! What a wonderful night that was.

When I paint something, I always feel that there is someone who is searching for this painting. 🙂

Male Torso

My primarily work is surreal or abstract in acrylic, but I painted male torso this time in watercolor.  This is something new and I had painted a few more as a series.
This maybe my new direction for 2012.  Who knows…?
This painting “Male Torso” will be exhibited in the annual members exhibition for 2012.

Please come to the Opening Reception on Saturday, January 28, 3:00-5:30pm at The Charles H. Taylor Arts Center.  Free admission with a little refreshment. 🙂
I hope to see you there!

It’s almost the end of January 2012 already.  I have many dreams, but I had truly beautiful dreams two days in a row so far in this month.  Just breathtaking view.  I wanted to try watercolor this time to paint my dream.  Something new for new year.

The one of dream was beautiful sunset or many sunrise… but all in a rainbow colors.  Ocean, sky, mountains, and even sun itself…
