This will be exhibited from Jan 29th through Feb 27th at Charles H. Taylor Arts Center in Hampton Virginia.

I saw this image in between my awake and asleep. Each element was moving back and forth, shrinking and expanding, as if they are alive and breathing. I paint what I see in my mind… to communicate to some extent. I cannot explain with words. I totally depend on my instincts because I know my instincts are usually right for me. The colors, lines, shapes, movements… everything on the canvas will vibrate you. That’s important to me.

Green Cave
When I was painting the “Red Mountains”, this image came onto my mind. This must be a sibling of Red Mountains. Looking out from the dark to light. It’s rather peaceful.
